Let's Invite the Humans!!

Congratulations Rocket Scientists! You have successfully landed your spaceship and made peace with the extraterrestrials. However, there is one problem... money. The extraterrestrials seem to be using a base 5 counting system. Decipher the system and report back. Also, break up into expert groups of 2 or 3 to learn and teach the humans about daily life on this new planet.

Plan a presentation to prepare the humans for their big move! Tell them everything you did to make peace and safely land on the planet. Make sure to emphasize the friendly relationships you have made so the humans will not be scared to move.

Well, we have found a place to land and we think the extraterrestrials will welcome us. However, there are some environmental concerns. What do you think we need to consider before stepping out of the space ship?

Our space ship is approaching the alien planet. However, we are having difficulty seeing through the atmosphere. Use the planetary probes and build a model of the landscape to determine an appropriate place to land the space ship. We may step foot on our new planet today!!
